May, 2009 - 38th Annual Bainbridge Bass Club
Memorial Day Weekend Buddy Bass Tournament
Story by Joe Crine - The Post-Searchlight

The father and son team of Rick and Robert Tindell of Leesburg pulled in a
five-fish limit weighing 26.93 pounds on a rainy Lake Seminole Sunday to win the
$2,000 first prize in the 38th annual Bainbridge Bass Club Memorial Day Weekend
Buddy Bass Tournament. The Tindells, who outfitted a 36-boat field, reported
catching their fish various times of the day on gigs in the Spring Creek area of
the lake. "We had to cull several fish," Robert said. "We probably caught 10 or
11 fish all day."
John Ross of Tallahassee, Fla., and Keith Taylor of Monticello, Fla., took
second with a five-fish limit weighing 23.72 pounds. They earned a check for
$1,048.
Capturing third place and earning a check for $577.86 with a five-fish limit
weighing 22.41 pounds was the Quincy, Fla., team of Gilbert and Ken Brown.
